Interview for Viva Pagliuca 05/06/2007

Season over, are you disappointed? Were you hoping that it would finish another way?
GP: Yes, I really hoped that it would end better.

What are you intentions for the future? (Many people are asking about this!) Would you play in Serie B or only Serie A?

GP: I'm only interested in Serie A.

Do you think you'll sign with a new team soon or will you work on this after vacation?
GP: I don't know...

Is it true that you did not want to stay on the bench after your injury? Wasn't that a somewhat selfish decision?
GP: Yes, it's true.

In the "Pallone nel 7" show you indicated that you did not get along well with Sonetti... Any comments?
GP: I confirm that I did not get along with him.

How was you relationship with the team overall? Did it feel like "your team?"
GP: I got along well with my teammates.

In the Sport Week interview you admitted that you always remained an Inter fan. What did you feel when you played against Inter? Did the thought of being "one of them" bother you?
GP: Absolutely not, I'm a professional!

Did you already decide where you're going on vacation this year? Some exotic place?
GP: Formentera.

Gianluca, did you serve in the army? What did you do and where did you serve?
GP: I was in the Air Force at Bologna.

Do you like jokes? Tell us your favorite.
GP: No, I don't like them.

Mattia is already 5, are you going to have him play in the kids' leagues? Does he go to soccer school?
GP: Yes, he goes to a soccer school and basketball school also.

Aurora, are you happy with how things are going with the tanning salon? Are you working a lot? Does Gianluca come to help out now that he's returned to Bologna?
AP: Yes, I'm really happy with how things are going. Gianluca stays at home, he just comes by to say hello every once in a while.

Gianluca, in the Champions League Final, did you pull for Milan or against it as an Inter fan would?
GP: Against them, obviously!

Do you follow the national team?
GP: Yes.

Do you think that next season, when Juve returns to Serie A, things wll be different after the revelations of foul play or do you think nothing will change fundamentally without more drastic interventions?
GP: In my view, nothing will change.

Tell us the question that the journalists always ask you and that you hate the most (then maybe next time we'll ask it).
GP: Just the usual questions where everybody already knows the answers!
