to Viva Pagliuca!
Maria Spiridonova of St. Petersburg, Russia, started this
site in April 1999, after seeing Pagliuca in the World Cup
in France and meeting him in Milan while he was at Inter.
Shortly after the site opened, Julia Tarasova found it through
a link on Inter’s official site. We started exchanging stories
and photographs.
If you think it’s an interesting coincidence that two Russian
girls who like the same Italian football player found each
other on the Internet while living thousands of miles apart,
you should meet some of our other visitors and collaborators!
They come from around the world: Bente – Alaska; Kaori and
Yasuko – Japan; Tony di Piazza – New York; Bob Owens – England;
Matt – New Jersey, USA; Arezou – Iran. All of these nice people
have sent us materials about Pagliuca or helped us work on
the site. These are just the people that we have gotten to
know well, there are many other visitors.
For some time, this was the only site about Pagliuca on the
Internet. We have collected hundreds of photos, many interviews
and articles. Pagliuca's
official site opened in September 2001.
In October 2001, Maria and Julia met in Italy. We saw Verona-Bologna
and Bologna-Juve together, and we got to interview Pagliuca
face to face in Bologna, as we had wanted to do for some time,
with invaluable help from Massimo Magi. You can read the interview
on this site.
The design you see, unveiled on Pagliuca’s birthday (18 December
2001), was created by TranC, who is also the webmaster of
the official site of Zenit Football Club (St. Petersburg,
Russia). We also want to thank Superkolik, Sue Zergut, mik,
S. Sirotkin, Max66 and Corrado Pandiani, who have helped us with
technical and design questions. Maria wants also to thank
Dr.Gubar because of introducing her in the football world.Of
course, we are always looking
for more materials and we welcome links to and from this site.

a Viva Pagliuca!
Maria Spiridonova, di San Pietroburgo, Russia, creo' questo
sito nell'aprile del 1999, dopo aver visto Pagliuca nei Mondiali
di Francia '98 e averlo incontrato a Milano quando lui ancora
giocava nell'Inter. Julia Tarasova trovo' questo sito, poco
dopo che era stato creato, attraverso un link sul sito ufficiale
dell'Inter. Io e lei abbiamo cominciato a scambiarci storie
e fotografie.
Se pensate che sia un'interessante coincidenza che due ragazze
Russe a cui piace lo stesso calciatore Italiano si incontrino
su internet vivendo a migliaia di kilometri di distanza l'una
dall'altra, forse dovreste conoscere anche alcuni dei nostri
altri collaboratori e visitatori! Vengono da ogni angolo del
pianeta: Bente dall'Alaska, Kaori e Yasuko dal Giappone, Tony
Di Piazza da New York, Bob Owens dall'Inghilterra, Matt dal
New Jersey, Arezou dall'Iran. Tutte queste simpatiche persone
ci hanno mandato materiale su Pagliuca o ci hanno aiutato
nella lavorazione del sito. Queste sono solo le persone che
abbiamo avuto modo di conoscere meglio, ma ci sono anche molti
altri visitatori.
Per un certo periodo, questo e' stato l'unico sito internet
su Pagliuca. Abbiamo raccolto centinaia di foto, molte interviste
e articoli. Il
sito ufficiale di Pagliuca e' stato inaugurato nel
settembre del 2001.
Nell'ottobre del 2001, Maria e Julia si sono incontrate in
Italia. Insieme abbiamo assistito a Verona-Bologna e Bologna-Juventus,
e abbiamo realizzato un'intervista faccia-a-faccia con Pagliuca,
come desideravamo fare da diverso tempo, col prezioso aiuto
di Massimo Magi. Potete leggere il testo di quest'intervista
sul nostro sito.
Il disegno che vedete, svelato in occasione del compleanno
di Pagliuca (18 dicembre 2001), e' stato realizzato da TranC,
che e' anche il webmaster del sito ufficiale dello Zenit Football
Club (San Pietroburgo, Russia). Vogliamo ringraziare anche
Superkolik, Sue Zergut, Mik, S.Sirotkin,Max66 e Corrado Pandiani,
che ci hanno aiutate nelle questioni tecniche e grafiche.
Maria vuole ringraziare anche Dr.Gubar per averla
introdotta nel mondo del Calcio.
